The nonprofit Medicare Rights Center operates a national toll-free helpline, Monday through Friday, at 1-800-333-4114. Operators (English and Spanish-speaking) can answer your Medicare questions and assist you with understanding your rights.

State Health Insurance Assistance Programs
State Health Insurance Assistance Programs (SHIPs) offer one-on-one counseling and assistance to people with Medicare and their families. This includes help with enrollment, screening and application for benefits that can save you money on your Medicare costs and assistance with other questions.
