Using the 5 Best Medicare Web Sites
You can find lots of information on Medicare on the Web. To help you become more familiar with using the Internet to learn about Medicare, see our Navigator video.
The video will show you how to use five trustworthy Web sites. These sites are easy to use, and they give you reliable, accurate information about Medicare. The video also helps you get familiar with using the computer and the Internet.

- Part 1: Medicare Basics — This part shows two Web sites, run by national nonprofit organizations, that describe Medicare in easy-to-understand terms. The sites are MyMedicareMatters.org and the Kaiser Family Foundation's "Talking About Medicare." (8:05 minutes)
- Part 2: Government Web Sites — This part tells you about two important government Web sites made for people with Medicare. It also will show you how to get personalized information about your use of Medicare. These sites are Medicare.gov and MyMedicare.gov. (7:43 minutes)
- Part 3: Find Benefits and Programs for You — This part tells you how to find national, state and local benefit programs. These programs can help you pay Medicare costs and other bills. That information comes from the BenefitsCheckUp Web site. This video also tells you where to find personal advice and counseling on Medicare. (3:30 minutes)
