What will the Medicare Prescription Drug Coverage cost me while I am in a nursing home?

How much you pay will depend on the plan you select and whether you qualify for extra help with costs. If you have full Medicaid, you will not pay out-of-pocket costs while you are in the nursing home—no deductibles, premiums or co-pays. If you do not have full Medicaid, but qualify for the extra help, you will pay low or no premiums and deductibles. You also will pay less for your drugs.
